Kia ora,

As it is getting to the end of the year we would just like to remind everyone about a few things -

Behaviour - 

We love supporters and parents encouraging their teams and players but we ask that anything said is positive and does not involve instructing players to be rough or aggressive on the court. There have been incidence of this happening which goes against the Zero policy we have. 

If you have any concerns about behavior during a game either on the court or around it please speak to the floor controllers or the NCBA Staff and volunteers at the venues.

Mouthguards - 

Mouthguards are compulsory and players will be asked to not take the court or will be asked to leave the court until they have a mouthguard and it's being correctly used.

Bench Duty - 

We would like to say thank you to all the coaches who put their time and energy into helping these players get out on the court and play basketball each week, and lets not forget the managers who organise everyone.

To help them we need parents to please do bench duty each week.

Games will not start (even if the clock has) until we have representatives from both teams on the bench to do the scoring.
There is always a floor controller (in bright orange), an NCBA staff member in their NCBA tops or our fantastic volunteers (who you will see in their NCBA tops with volunteer on the back) who are all more than happy to sit with you and help you learn or answer your questions.

NCBA Annual Golf Day -  (please share with your parents and supporters)

For those of you who would enjoy a round or two of golf we are holding our annual Golf Day Fundraiser on the 1st December at Kaiapoi Golf course.
All proceeds go to our Manaaki Support fund.
