Nationals 2024
BBNZ Nationals in the last few years have provided North Canterbury Basketball with some awesome highlights such as a 4th place finish for our U17 Girls (now called U18) in 2022 & then hosting the U19 (now called U20) Nationals in Rangiora for two years (and will be again in 2024), and most recently in 2023 the U15 Boys (now called U16) team finished 8th.
NCBA are looking forward to the 2024 National Tournaments season.
The Qualifiers to get teams to the Nationals is being held in Nelson for 2024 on the 20th-22nd April and teams will be travelling to and staying in Nelson.
2024 will see NCBA once again hosting the U20 Nationals in Rangiora on the
31st May-3rd June at Mainpower Stadium.
We will then be looking forward to the next National tournament which is the U18 tournament hosted in Wellington 10th - 13th July. The next National tournament is less than a week later in Auckland for the U16 tournament, 16th-19th July.

Please read the 2024 Age Definitions for BBNZ Competitions document if you are unsure which age group you are to trial for.
If you are unavailable to attend but still wish to be considered a trial exemption form will need to be filled in. This can be found in the documents list on this page. Completed forms will need to be sent to admin@northcanterbury.basketball.
Forms need to be received one week before the trial/s you are unable to attend.
If NCBA is not notified that you wish to be considered but are unavailable to attent trial/s you will not be considered.
