Level 1 Coaching Course
The FIBA Level One Certification is recognized internationally. This qualification will be required in 2020 for any coach wishing to lead a team at a Regional or National Representative Tournament in New Zealand. We strongly encourage coaches at the Whelan and Thomson Trophy level to also seek this qualification as we foresee this being needed at Secondary Schools in the near future. Prior learning will not be applied here, so all current coaches are urged to gain their certification.
The FIBA Level One Course consists of two separate four hour sessions (split over two days a week apart)
Currently there are no course’s scheduled for 2022
Once registered for either course you should receive all the information once your place is confirmed. If you do have any questions, please contact Matt Cunninghame
