OFFICE MANAGER

North Canterbury Basketball are seeking applications from suitably skilled people to take on the busy operation of our Association office based in Rangiora.
The role is full Time 40 hours per week with occasional weekend work required.

The successful candidate should possess the following:
​​​​​​​
•    Excellent general administration skills.
•    Good working knowledge of Microsoft suit of products, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
•    Working knowledge of various social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram.
•    An intimate knowledge of the local sporting landscape , ideally with Basketball.
•    Sound understanding of general accounting practices.
•    Experience with Xero accounting software.
•    Experience in event planning and organisation.
•    Some experience in website management.
•    Experience booking and scheduling of programs and venues.

This role is a fast-paced role that will keep you busy all day long.

GENERAL MANAGER

North Canterbury Basketball are seeking applications from a highly skilled person to take the reins of our successful Basketball Association based in Rangiora.

North canterbury Basketball have made amazing progress in recent years and are looking for someone who has passion and experience at this senior management level to continue and improve future progress and developments.

The role is full Time 40 hours per week with occasional weekend work required.

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Excellent time management and administration skills.
  • Experience with NFP organisations and management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a flair for networking and building relationships.
  • An intimate knowledge of the local sporting landscape , ideally with Basketball.
  • Sound working knowledge of management accounting practices.
  • Experience with community funding processes and applications.
  • Experience acquiring and managing sponsorship arrangements and relationships.
  • Sports Coaching experience, ideally with Basketball.
  • Some experience in website management.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft suit of products, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of various social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram.
